Vattenfall Customer Service Nordic is responsible for sales, billing, and customer service for Vattenfall's customers in the Nordic region. Our headquarters is in Umeå, but we also have offices in Solna and Helsinki, and together we are about 300 employees who support Vattenfall's various businesses through customer interfaces. We work towards fossil freedom by guiding our customers to climate-smart solutions, and we are passionate about quality and customer experience, having been awarded the best service in Energy for the past two years.

About the Role
We are now looking for a communication strategist for Vattenfall Customer Service, located in Umeå or Stockholm.

Communication is one of our most important strategic tools for building culture and creating engagement. As a communication strategist, you will play a key role in establishing and implementing our internal and external communication plan. You will act as an advisor on communication issues to our Management Team and work closely with the entire organization to drive change by contributing your expertise in communication in line work and projects.
We are currently driving an AI transformation and are looking for someone with knowledge of GenAI and experience in communicating AI usage to employees or similar target groups, with positive results. This may involve creating engagement on the intranet through real examples and employee stories, and clearly demonstrating how AI can support daily work.
Your Responsibilities
- Drive and further develop Vattenfall Customer Service's internal and external communication plan
- Establish a communication plan for Vattenfall Customer Service's AI transformation and implement it together with the organization
- Support management and operations with strategic communication advice
- Drive communication initiatives throughout the chain: planning, production, publishing, and follow-up
- Create and ensure target group-adapted, clear, and professional communication
- Act as an ambassador for our brand and contribute to pride and culture development
- Actively work to position Vattenfall Customer Service's brand within Vattenfall
- Build and maintain a broad internal network to capture needs and create coordination
- Be responsible for both long-term communication strategies and daily operational needs
Qualifications
- Post-secondary degree in communication or equivalent experience and competence deemed equivalent
- Experience with GenAI and a documented ability to translate AI insights into clear messages, guiding principles, and concrete working methods for our employees
- Documented experience in strategic and advisory communication.
- Experienced in driving change communication and creating engagement in internal channels.
- Very good ability to express yourself in speech and writing in both Swedish and English

Location
Solna or Umeå.
Vattenfall Customer Service operates in both Solna and Umeå, which means that you will travel to the other office about once a month as a natural part of the role.
